GILD

Gild is a Mobile and Mobile Accessories company, founded on August 22^nd 2018, as at the time, the company was operating online and social Media platform.

The Name “GILd” is formed from the names of the founders, Gabriel Idisi and Lilian Daniel, the first letter of their names was taken, which is G.I.L.D, from the origin of the name, Gild was founded by two people, together they brought their vision into reality.

Gild started as an ICT firm, giving training to young people, consulting and making research.

 As time pass by, the general public wanted more, than just online activities, in the year 2020, Gild acquire it’s first shopping outlet, in the month of February that same year, just as Gild was about setting up the shopping outlet and getting ready for operation the Corona pandemic outbreak began, making the plans and operation difficult, due to the pandemic Gild was force to shut down even before they could begin operation by the Nigeria Government, as at the time of the corona pandemic (Covid-19) almost the whole world was shut down from Asia to Europe and Africa, millions of people lost their life because of the Virus, the International market and company were also shutdown, many companies, firms and organization folded.

After the pandemic, the Federal Government of Nigeria lifted the lock down and businesses and companies reopened and were back to operation. Gild strive through the pandemic and were able to start operation in the same year 2020.today Gild is one of the leading Mobile Accessories and dealers of Mobile phones in Port Harcourt River state.

Though the pandemic was over, the Economic of the country was drastically affected and Gild was no exceptional, Gild started their first shopping outlet at Eneka Port Harcourt, with little or no goods, and as time passes, the outlet continue to grow.

Today GILD is known for selling only original products of Oraimo, Beats wireless device, Infinix, Techno, Earpiece, Usb Cables, Chargers, Watches, Screen Guards, Ipods, HP laptops, Dell, Mac and etc.
